Date: Saturday April 6, 2013

Location: Satsop Development Park, ElmaWA - Start location and parking by the cooling towers.

Course Description: 13.25 mile loop starting on top of Fuller hill at the Satsop Development Park. The course starts at the mothballed nuke plant rolls down to the valley of Satsop. Then goes east on a narrow twisty valley farm road. After passing the through the valley the course turns back towards 1 km climb and finish. It’s perfect for the all-rounder.  Course Map

Cost: $30 for standard categories, $20 for junior categories  plus WA State sales tax. USA Cycling license required to race. One day license for category 5 men and 4 women is $10 and available at the race. All other categories must have an USA Cycling annual license ($60) which can be purchased at www.usacycling.org (not for sale at the race). 

Registration: Online registration is open and closes Thursday April 4th at 9pm.  Sign Up Now!!!  Day of registration opens at 7:15am and closes 15 minutes before the start of each race for all categories. Online Registration Link - https://www.usacycling.org/register/2013-555


Race Numbers: WSBA numbers will be used and can be purchased at www.wsbaracing.com. Rental numbers will be available for $10 and $5 is refundable. Number Placement: Left bib number and frame number are required for WSBA
members.

Directions from Seattle: Head south towards Olympia and take Exit 104 off I-5 to Hwy 101 (to Ocean Beaches/Shelton). Follow 101 for ~6 miles and follow the signs to Hwy 8 towards Aberdeen. Follow Hwy 8 West to Aberdeen/Elma. At Elma take the Satsop Development Park exit. Turn left at Stop sign to cross the highway. Proceed about 1.6 miles, after you cross the bridge over the river turn RIGHT on Lambert Road. Follow Lambert road to the Park Entrance at Olympic View Drive and turn left.

Directions from Portland: Take 1-5 North and follow it to US 12 West Exit 88-B toward Aberdeen/Tenino. Turn onto US 12 West and follow it to Elma (approximately 26 miles). At Elma turn left to stay on US 12 West. Take the Satsop Development Park exit which is a1/2 mile. Turn left at Stop sign to cross the highway. Proceed about 1.6 miles, after you cross the bridge over the river turn RIGHT on Lambert Road. Follow Lambert road to the Park Entrance at Olympic View Drive and turn left.
